Testimonials

I hired Maureen Williams for a loved one because of her many years experience, her personal approach (answered phone), and because she took the time to answer all questions. She explained the intricacies of my case to my satisfaction, and she did everything she could to advance my case. (The charges were dropped.) I would recommend Maureen Williams to my friends and family, and would hire her again if I needed to.

I hired Maureen Williams because I felt Ms. Williams was trustworthy and competent. I was happy with the result, an appropriate result that would have been worse without her assistance. I was happy with her representation, and would hire Ms. Williams again if the need arose.

I wanted to THANK YOU again for your help. You are so helpful and awesome. You are the first attorney that I have talked to who showed a genuine interest. I have contacted several law firms but all I get is a voice mail for me to leave a message that never gets returned. Thank you so much for treating people the way they should be treated - with genuine care and respect.
God bless, Vijay
p.s. I watched the video on your website and it is really so wonderful to see someone walking the talk.

I decided to hire Attorney Maureen Williams because of the reasonable price. [She was] much better than other attorneys even without a discount. She communicated with me to my satisfaction throughout the case, and did everything she could to obtain the best possible result. I decided to hire Ms. Williams after talking to many different attorneys. She stood out as one that would fight for me. I was able to keep my license [after a successful challenge to statutory summary suspension] and that was the most important thing. My only suggestion for The Law Offices of Maureen Williams is to keep doing what you are doing. I am glad that I hired you. It was well worth it. I would recommend Maureen Williams to my friends and family if they were ever in need of a criminal defense attorney immediately and without question.

I hired Maureen Williams to prepare a petition for post-conviction relief for one of my clients. Because of her thorough, able, and speedy work, we were able to win the case. I believe Maureen to be honest, direct, experienced lawyer who is always willing to work as hard as necessary to complete the job. She really cares about her clients and she is wonderful to work with. I highly recommend this highly qualified lawyer.

For almost 20 years I have been in prison for a murder I didn't commit. During that time, I have seen and talked to many attorneys. Maureen was the only one that believed in me and my case. While in prison I have read approximately 100 appeals. By far the best one of the lot was the one she wrote for me. Some of the things I find attractive about Maureen is that she is a hard worker. Her style of writing is easy for a layman to read, in that she does not put a lot of legalese in an appeal and writes coherently about the facts. She is very articulate and will readily voice her opinions and thoughts on a case. One major reason I paid her to do my appeal was she won an appeal for a person I knew. My own appeal was recently denied and I still feel this way about Maureen. I have retained Maureen to appeal the denial of my habeas corpus petition. The appeal was granted and still pending.

When a legal need arose, I called a friend of mine who is an accomplished general litigation attorney in Minneapolis. After speaking to him about my legal concerns, expressing my need for a strong appellate advocate, he encouraged me to contact Ms. Maureen Williams. I am very pleased with how Ms. Williams conducted herself throughout my representation; she was both an effective advocate and competent advisor regarding the appellate court system.
As an advocate, she persuasively presented my civil case before the tribunal of the Minnesota Court of Appeals. As an advisor, she counseled me about my legal rights and obligations and, thereafter, suggested a particular course of action. As an attorney, she prepared herself well for oral argument before the Court and drafted a superb legal memorandum of law. She carefully researched the applicable case law and applied the law to my specific circumstances.
Ms. Williams was dedicated to my case; she provided me with the time and attention demanded by my case. Ms. Williams displayed perseverance and creativity. She showed strong reasoning skills in analyzing complex case law and applying the law to my circumstances. She effectively and competently resolved my case/legal problem.
Ms. Williams is an excellent writer, who speaks with ease and authority. These skills are equally complimented by her research and analytic skills.
Without reservation, I strongly recommend Ms. Williams as your appellate advocate and attorney.

Attorney Maureen Williams works for her clients! She deals directly with you, no middle man. When she says she will call you back, she actually does! She accomplished what needed to be done; I will definitely call on her services again

I was wrongfully accused of a traffic violation in June-2008. I asked the court for new trial date, as I wanted to secure an attorney. I hired attorney Ms. Maureen Williams to represent me at a bench trial. Within one hour, she was able to get the ticket thrown out. Ms. Williams was very professional and I would highly recommend her to others.
